These restrictions can take many forms and may cover a wide range of topics such as zoning laws, occupancy permits, weight, size and noise restrictions, parking regulations, and environmental requirements. The primary goal and aims of City & Road Restrictions are to reduce car dependency, promote healthy and sustainable living, and improve wellbeing and quality of life for city dwellers.

This package is for anyone looking to complete their Driver CPC Initial Qualification so they can drive a Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) or Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) commercially.
(You’ll only need this if you hold or are training for a C1, C, C+E, D1 or D licence.)
What you’ll achieve
This course includes the Driver CPC Initial Qualification Module 4 Practical Test, carried out in-house at our Latchingdon, Maldon site by our own family qualified CPC examiner.
Once you pass, you’ll receive your Driver Qualification Card (DQC) from the DVLA — valid for 5 years.
To keep your DQC valid after that, you’ll need to complete 35 hours of Driver CPC Periodic Training within the 5 years. This can be spread out (for example, one 7-hour course each year) or completed in a single 5-day block — whichever suits you best.
Duration
Usually completed within 1–2 weeks, depending on booking availability.
(Most trainees only need to take one day off work during this period.)
Requirements
To take this course, you’ll need to:
• Bring your driving licence (photo card must be in date).
• Hold or be working towards your LGV or PCV licence (appropriate provisional required).
• Have already passed your Driver CPC Module 2 Case Study theory test.
