About Us – K & W & Daughters Driver Training

We’re a family-run driver training business with over 25 years’ experience in the HGV, LGV and PCV industry. Our family name has been trusted for generations, and we’re proud to continue providing quality training that helps people achieve their driving goals — whether that’s starting a new career, upgrading a licence, or getting that bigger horsebox on the road.

We’ve built up a fantastic reputation with a very high first-time pass rate and loads of positive feedback from our trainees. We know learning to drive a large vehicle can be nerve-racking, so our experienced instructors take the time to put you at ease, guide you step by step, and build your confidence in a calm and friendly way.

Our vehicles are clean, tidy and well looked after, and our training hours are flexible — perfect for anyone who can’t train every day or needs evening and weekend options.

We take your worries seriously and do our best to help with anything, big or small. With us, you’ll never be rushed — you’ll get the time and support you need, because we know how important your licence is.

Give us a try — you won’t be disappointed.

You’ll soon see why so many people recommend us and why we’re proud to say our family name stands for quality, patience and professionalism.

He was very respectful and was clear and considerate with how he was teaching me. Couldn’t recommend the company enough. Great communication throughout, no problems answering all my questions. Thanks a lot guys!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Enlisted these guys to help me get my C1 license, the whole process was seamless. They booked everything for me and were super organised with lessons and tests. Michelle could teach me with her eyes closed if she wanted, they’re fantastic at what they do! 99.5% pass rate! Thank you guys, appreciate you! Chantelle x

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you're looking at booking for driver training from car+trailer to HGV then look no further! From start to finish these guys really do deliver an outstanding service! Passed my class 2 with them a few years back and from enquiring to passing was as smooth as could be. Look forward to eventually using their service again for my C+E 👍

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Passed my C+E today first time with no minors thanks to Josh and team! They are very professional and Josh’s teaching style is great. Really enjoyed my training and will definitely be recommending K&W and daughters in the future! Thank you guys! (Edit) Apparently you can only write 1 review so I’m adding to this one! I passed my C+E a year and a half ago and wanted to refresh my skills as I stayed with my old job instead of moving on to class 1. Josh took me out for a few hours to learn and practice some more reverse manoeuvres and a few on road driving tips aswell as a refresh on coupling and uncoupling. Although I retained the knowledge he gave me when I first passed it was nice to have some extra skills under the belt and from as always a great instructor! Cannot recommend these guys enough.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best company to get your theory test and practical test done. Kind staff and good communication throughout my journey with them. I highly recommend them if you need to get your licence for the category they offer. Thanks again for helping me get what I needed.
